Somehow

He wore it well,
He tried to hide it.
The question was written all over his face,
The world couldn’t see it.

He searched for an answer,
Around the corners of his soul,
Through the alleys of his mind,
And swam a thousand oceans of despair.

No luck.
Nowhere to go.

The world as he knew it moved on,
Yet he always felt he stayed behind somehow.

Then there was her,
There will always be her.

She listened,
She cared,
She loved him.
She could not always be there.

He wondered and searched.
“The answer is inside”, she said.
“You must know where you stand.”
“Do you know where you stand?”

Until he finds himself,
There will always be the question.
He will disappear in front of the rest of the world,

No one will see it as she does.
No one will know why.
No luck.
Nowhere to go.

The world as he knows it will move on,
Yet he will always feel as if he stayed behind somehow.

I have watched the butterfly effect...very good. I like movies that screw with my head. I haven't seen the jacket yet, but it is on my list...Along with Sin City. Heard it was good too...
